Okay, so after I hit my mid forties, I decided I looked (and felt) a bit old. I had already stopped obstetrics, so I was getting more sleep. But the person in the mirror that looked back had lost the glow of youth. Where had the years gone?
I decided to look for ways to restore at least the facial appearance of youth. As in the case of my laser purchase, being the ever cautious consumer, I sampled a few lines of skin products. I started with the Skinceuticals line and got pretty good results - decreased fine lines and improvement in pigmentation. Wanting to know if faster results could occur, I jumped ship to sample a few other skin care lines. The results weren't as much of an improvement, and I actually found out that I liked Skinceuticals products much better. Hence, the Skinceuticals line is what I sell in my office.
I do not believe in 'hard sell' and will never push my patients to purchase my products. I don't like it when my vendors try to push something upon me. If you ask me about products, I will gladly discuss them. Otherwise, I will keep mum.
I do tell my patients to stay out of the sun because it puts one at risk for skin cancer. I also advise them to avoid tanning salons and spray on tan. I advise patients to use sunscreen, but they certainly don't have to use what I sell. The important thing is that they are using sunscreen, especially on their faces.
If you would like to investigate these products on your own go to
www.skinceuticals.com
Alternatively, I can suggest products that would be beneficial. Free skin care consultations are available.
If you are already a Skinceuticals user and are in need of a certain product, call our office ahead of your visit to ensure we have it in stock when you arrive.
